Test persons from the University of California practiced intermittent fasting over a period of three months. They lost weight, reduced their abdominal fat, lowered their blood pressure and cholesterol and stabilized their blood sugar and insulin levels. However, it is important to act before you suffer from diabetes - because it is very difficult to reverse the disease process.

Intermittent fasting allows the body to rest and regenerate for 14 hours. In addition, the organism can anticipate when the next meal is coming and optimize the metabolism accordingly. A big plus: During the ten hours, people who want to lose weight can eat anything they feel like.
